Photos: Removing the Brain Tumour

On November 25, 2010, Antonia (Mom) took Nate into clinic because we were unable to control his nausea and he was becoming more lethargic.  While we were in clinic, he was sick, wanted to be snuggled, and just sleep.  The care team decided to do an emergency head CT, with the thought that Nate might be having an allergic reaction to the cis-retinoic acid (Accutane) that he had been on in high doses.  By this time, Aaron (Dad) had arrived and we took Nate down to have the CT at …

On Friday, our day started with Antonia heading to Oshawa for the funeral service for Connor Fox. It was very important to us that at least one of us be there to honour Connor and celebrate this gentle warrior’s life. The service was lovely and Antonia had a chance to spend some time with Elena and Patrick at the reception afterward. All our love goes out to them each and every day.
After Antonia left, Brenda came over once again to look after Alex while Nate and I made our trek …
